هذه الأعمال الكاملة ليست مجرد كتب، إنها من لحم ودم وحياة وأحلام وعظمة بلاد تعتز بأبنائها وأبناء يعتزون ببلادهم، إنها أحدى اللبنات الرئيسية التي أسست للمشهد الثقافي والإنساني الحقيقي في منطقة الخليج العربي.
لم ينشغل عبد الله الطائي بما كتب في القصة أو الشعر أو الرواية فقط، بل تعدى ذلك إلى كتابة تاريخ عمان، ورصد الأدب المعاصر في الخليج العربي، وغير ذلك الكثير، ربما ليقول لنا أن الإبداع هو أن نكون شموليين في الحرص على تاريخ بلادنا وكتابنا لأنهم رأيتنا الخالدة.
ولن نتوقف هنا فثمة مساحة أخرى يتم العمل عليها لترى النور قريباً وهي مذكرات هذا الرائد (عبد الله بن محمد الطائي) والتي تضيء وتترجم مرحلة من أهم المراحل في التاريخ العماني.
