يحكي هذا الكتاب كواليس إقدام "حسين الشيخ" على إطلاق النار على "يوسف شربل" إنتقاماً للعدالة وانتقاماً لدم أنطون سعادة المراق ظلماً على رمل جناح بيروت، والذي لا يسأل عنه شربل وحده، الحكومة التي كان هو مفوضها والناطق بلسانها. وكانت "ثلاث رصاصات في حينها، هزت لبنان، مذكرات إنسان عادي ومناضل ملتزم آمن بالصراع والحق فتحول بمصارعة "التنين" بطلاً في مرحلة سوداء من تاريخ لبنان. فكان لرصاصاته على القاضي يوسف شربل المدعي العام الذي نحر العدالة بحكمه الظالم على سعادة، الدّوي العظيم. وكان الثمن لهذه الرصاصات حياة تشرد، ليبقى دوي الرصاصات على مدى الأيام، نقطة سوداء على جبين العدالة الشوهاء، ووسام شرف على جبين الرفيق حسين الذي ثأر للعدالة الذبيح.
كتاب هام ندرك من خلاله القيم الفكرية للحزب القومي السوري الإجتماعي واثرها في جيل أدرك أهمية الوعي القومي على يد الزعيم "سعادة" كرجل عقيدة ومؤسس لمدرسة فكرية كبرى أحدثت نهضة في أنحاء الشرق يندر لها مثيل، فكان الحكم عليه بالإعدام مخالفاً للقانون، ولن تغفره الأجيال القادمة ولا التاريخ، ولا لشربل ولا الحكومة التي مثلها.
