هو طَعْمٌ يغويك يسلّيك لثوانٍ ويمسّك بسوء لأجَلٍ غير محدود، فيقعدك صاغراً أثيماً.
وهو على الضفة الأخرى طَعمٌ يدمي قلب من ذاق مرارته من شريكِ لم يحفظ عهد محبته، ولم يخلص لصدق مودته، مرتكباً جرم الخيانة الآثم، في غياب القيم، وطغيان الهوى؛ لأنه طُعمٌ ماكرٌ سالبٌ للعقل، مغيّب للفطرة، يلتقمه من قلّ إيمانه، وغلَبَ شيطانُه.
إذاً هو طُعم وطَعم، فبطُعم الخيانة وقع في وحل الخطيئة النتن فذاق طَعمها وإستساغ مذاقها ونال الدنس، وفي الحالتين؛ أخرس صوت الضمير، وأفسد نقاء الروح، وانتهك حرمة الجسد، وحلّ عليه غضب الرب العظيم.
