تقول الشاعرة إنّ هذا هو ديوانها الأول لكنّ كثافة الكلمات والصور تدلّ على أنّ الديوان جاء وليد مخاض طويل من المراجعة والتنقيح، فهو يعبّر عن مستوى جيّد من مراحل صعودها التدريجيّ نحو الأعالي، تنتقي مفرداتها الشعريّة بعناية، ويعينها على ذلك ما لديها من ذخيرة معجميّة وافرة تحرص الشاعرة على رفدها بشكل متجدّد بما يمتّن سداة ولحمة النصّ، وبما ينبئ عن صوتٍ شعريّ متفرّد لا تحول فيه جزالة الألفاظ ووطأة ثقل المعاني من التحليق على إرتفاعات متباينة قادرة على مخاطبة الوجدان الإنساني على إختلاف مستويات الوعي فيه.
ميزة أخرى تتمتّع بها شاعرتنا، وهي قدرتها على التعبير عن ادقّ خلجات النفس الأنثويّة بكل بلاغة وإقتدار ودون أيّ جنوح أو جموح نحو الإسفاف الّذي قد ينفر جمهور المتلقّين لخطابها الشعريّ، فهي تراعي الذائقة العامّة من جهة ومن جهة أخرى ترفض عجز المرأة عن التعبير كيانها النابض بالسخط والرضا والتمرّد والإذعان في أتون واحد.
