كما لعبت الحركة الوطنية في العراق دوراً بارزاً على صعيد تحقيق أهدافها الوطنية كما لا تنسى أيضاً ما لعبته شخصيات وطنية كردية من دور بارز ومهم على صعيد تحقيق أهداف ومطالب وتطلعات على الشعب الكردي في الحكم الذاتي وقد برزت منهم شخصيات وطنية مشهودة لهم في مقارعة الإستعمار البريطاني.
كما يلقي الكتاب الضوء على شخصيات علمية وتاريخية وفنية وأدبية لعبت دور في نشر الوعي الثقافي في العراق وعرفانا بما قدموه من إنجازات أن نقف أمامهم بإجلال وتقدير لإنجازاتهم العلمية والتاريخية والأدبية والشعرية للعراق وللأمة العربية المجيدة.
