وفي هذا الكتاب يتصدى الأستاذ محمد علي إسبر لهذه الطروحات الغربية تحدوه الرغبة في الزود عن حمى الإسلام ومفاهيمه التي عجزت الشرائع الوضعية عن الإيتان بمثيلها. وهو ينطلق من حرصه على بناء مجتمع إنساني على أساس مبادئ وعقائد وقيم لقرآن الكريم حيث يسلط الضوء على الصفحات المشرقة في مجتمعنا الإسلامي والتي تتجلى في دعوة الإسلام إلى العالم والإخاء والمحبة والتراجم والتعاون والحرية والعدالة والمساواة.
يقع الكتاب في مجلدين يتناول المؤلف في المجلد الأول الأحكام المتعلقة بقراءة القرآن والوضوء والجنابة والصلاة في القرآن وفي الحديث النبوي ودروس تتعلق بالصيام وما يتعلق بالزكاة وأحكامها والذبيحة. في حيت يتناول المجلد الثاني فلسفة الحياة والموت والصلاة على الميت والجوانب الأخلاقية الخاصة بالتعامل فيما بين الناس. وهو في هذا كله لا يقلل من شأن الحضارة الغربية وما قدمته للعالم بل يدعو إلى أن نأخذ منها ما يحقق تطلعاتنا ويخدم توجهاتنا كأمة تتطلع إلى مستقبل مشرق إذ أن الحضارة برأي المؤلف ملك للعالم كله تأخذ كل أمة منها ما تراه مناسباً لتقديمها وترفض ما لا ينسجم مع قيمها الاجتماعية والروحية والأخلاقية والإنسانية.
