لقد قيض الله عز وجل- لكل عصر وجيل من ؟أمتنا من يجددون هذا الطب النبوي. وينفحون في الأمة روحاً جديدة من الإيمان والإحسان. ويجددون صلة القلوب بالله, والأجسام بالأرواح, والمجتمع والأخلاق, والعلماء بالربانية, ويوجدون في الجمهور قوة مقاومة الشهوات وفتنة المال والولد وزينة الحياة الدنيا, وفي الخواص قوة مقاومة صلات الملوك ووعدهم ووعيدهم, والاستهانة بالمظاهر والزخارف والقناعة باليسير. فكان هؤلاء الصوفية يبايعون الناس على التوحيد والإخلاص, واتباع السنة والتوبة عن المعاصي, وطاعة الله ورسوله. ويحذرونهم من الفحشاء والمنكر والأخلاق والسيئة والظلم والقسوة, ويرغبونهم بالتحلي بالأخلاق الحسنة والتخلي عن الرذائل, وتزكية النفس وإصلاحها. ويعلمونهم ذكر الله والنصح لعباده والإيثار. ويدخلونهم الخلوات التي هي تدريب للإنسان كيف يستطيع أن يخرج الى الناس ويعاملهم.
وهذا الكتاب النادر في هذه الأيام, والذي يعد نفيساً لا يستغني عنه طالب علم فضلاً عن مريد سالك لطريق تزكية نفسه وفق منهج أهل الله عز وجل وخاصة أبناء الطريق النقشبندي الخالدي. فقد بين فيه مؤلفه حياة أعلام مصابيح هداية في حياتهم ومماتهم بما تركوه من أقوال وحكم ووعظ وإرشاد.
النقشبندي: هو عبد المجيد بن محمد بن محمد بن عبد الله بن مصطفى, الخاني, الشافعي, النقشبندي, الخالدي. وأصل الأسرة يرجع الى بلدة خان شيخون التابعة لمعرة النعمان. عالم, صوفي, أديب, شاعر, مشارك. ولد في صفر سنة 1263هجرية, ونشأ في حجر والده وجده, قرأ القرآن الكريم على الشيخ علي الحذوري الحمصي النقشبندي, وأخذ عنه التجويد والإنشاء, من أهم مؤلفاته: الحدائق الوردية في أجلاء النقشبندية, اشتهر بفصاحته, ولباقته وطلاقة لسانه, توفي في الآستانة سنة 1318هجرية, ودفن في مقبرة نيشان طاش.
