التعزية: هي أهم مكان للدعوة إلى الله؛ إذ فيه البار،والفاجر، والتقي ، والكافر. وكم من شاب اثر فيه موت احبائه، وأخلائه، فعاد إلى جادة الصواب بنصائح سمعها، وربما كانت أول مرة؛ إذ هو لم يدخل المسجد في حياته، ولكنه سمع الموعظة في العزاء على الرغم منه، فرق قلبه، وعاد إلى ربه، وخاصة إذا كانت الكلمات موزونة، ومدروسة بما يناسب المقام، والحال، فالحكيم من عرف مواطن الكلام، والبليغ من يراعي مقتضى الأحوال، والطبيب الماهر هو الذي يشخص الداء، ويعرف الدواء، فالكلام الذي يقال للكبير قد لا يصح أن يقال للصغير، ولذلك أحببت أن أضيف إلى مكتبتنا الإسلامية عملاً متجدداً؛ ليكون مرجعاً لطلاب العلم الشرعي، ولكل خطيب، وإمام، وداعية.
