في كل شعرية حسان منذر حب للعالم وإنسانية عالية، بعيدة في جذورها الروحية، وبراءة رؤياها "صلوات لا تغتفر"، قصائد تقف على الخط الفاصل بين الماضي والحاضر، وبمخيلة تحررت من كل القيود، تعيش الحاضر، مثلما تعود إلى الماضي، فتجعل منهما ثنائية جميلة في المكان والزمان، وقد عرف شاعرنا كيف ينسج نصه بذكاء مذهل، مُطعم بتجربة فريدة، يتحول معها الشعر إلى قصيدة للحياة وللحب والوطن والأصحاب والعائلة معاً.
في القصيدة المعنونة "أعناب الرّوح" والتي كان قد ألقاها في حفلة زفاف ابنه رواد بقوله: "من أين أبدأُ كي يحلو لنا السّهرُ... ويرُهقُ الليلَ سمّارٌ إذا سمروا... خمرُ الكؤوسِ من الأعناب تُعتصرُ... وخمرُ روحيَ على لُقياك تقتصر"... "واليومَ عرسك يا روّاد يخطر لي... أن أسكب الروح في الكاسات يا قمرُ...".
أما عن الوطن (لبنان) فيقول فيه الشاعر كل الكلمات، فتختلط رائحة ترابه، بنبض روحه، إنه الوطن الذي يرى الشاعر فيه، المثال، والوجود، والإنسان، الذي يتشاق إليه ويعتز به.
في القصيدة المعنونة "جبين الشرق" يقول: "... لبنانُ، أنت جبين الشرق إن شرقت... وأنت عرس السَّنافي فجره الرَّطبِ"... "ففيك تكتملُ الأمجادُ لو علموا... وفيك تُختزلُ الأنسابُ في الحِقَبِ"... "وانت وحدك نبض الرُّوح في جسدي... وأنت تَعلو على التاريخ والرُّتب"...
يضم الديوان قصائد متنوعة الثيمات والأغراض الشعرية بعضها جاء على بحور الشعر الموزون والمقفى، وبعضها الآخر في الشعر العربي الحديث، نذكر من العناوين: "الملاك"، "الشَّيب"، "الحشر"، "الليل"، "القنديل"، "حنين"، "البحّار"، "اللهب"، "شجن"، "أسكنتك الشّعر"، "أعناب الرّوح"، "الحصاد"... وعناوين أخرى.
