في مجموعتها الشعرية الثانية "عن نجمة هَوَت" تختصر كريستين حبيب مسافات الحياة بحرفين، هما (حبّ) لقد ارادت الشاعرة أن تستشف من الشعر علاقة الجنسين روحاً وجسداً ثم سكبه في نص شعري يعبر عن خلجات وأرواح فجاءت القصائد بمثابة قصة رومانسية منسوجة بحبكة أدبية فائقة الجمال مهيأة لمشاركة القارئ عيشها، لذلك ستحضر في النص كريستين العاشقة بصمتها الفائض من روحها، ولتصبح الذات / الأنثى داخل النص، فيتحول عندئذ الشعر إلى موضوع جمالي، ورؤية قيمية، ترى فيها الشاعرة تجربة جمالية مشتركة مع الآخر. تقول الشاعرة: "ذهبت روحي ... / إلى حبيبٍ لا يرتدي الحرائر ولا العطور / لا يراقبُ الوقت في ساعةٍ بل في عينيّ / لا يغريه بريقٌ سوى عشقنا / إلى حبيبٍ زاهدٍ إلا بي / أهدي روحي في العيد".
هكذا تدخل كريستين حبيب للعشر من بوابة الذات والآخر، وهو دخول يتميز بمواصفات خاصة، إنه الدخول إلى الشعر زمن الجنون، الشعر الذي تسافر معه إلى ما وراء النجوم، عندما يتحول الوجود إلى كينونة متصلة بذات من يكتب، فيمارس طقوسه الإبداعية الخاصة.
يضم الكتاب عدداً من القصائد المنتمية إلى الشعر العربي الحديث وغيرها على طريقة "الهايكو" ، "وخواطر قصيرة، نذكر من العناوين: "حقل الغام" ، "ربيع وجهي" ، "إسمه البحر" ، "حرّةّ" ، "جنى" ، "هايكوا" "الوردة" ، "خطيئة فاتنة" ، "أريد نهراً" ، "فقر" (...) وعناوين أخرى.
