في قصيدة بعنوان [ثنائي الحب] تقول كريستين: "طفل هش أنت"... لن أصرخ... صفحة رقيقة... لن أمزق... قارب أزرق... لن أغلق المرسى... وردة من نبيذٍ أنا... لن تكسر... وتر من حرير... لن تقطع... نغم منك... لذا تصمت !".
يضم الكتاب (55) قصيدة في الشعر العربي الحديث نذكر من عناوينها: "أنا"، "عن زهرة ترقص الباليه"، "إرثنا... حبر وأبجدية"، "يا بيتي"، "ولدنات"، "على قارعة قلبي"... إلخ.
أعطني "ضمة" وخذ أبجديّتي كلّها بساكنها والمتحرّك. "أنصبني" خيمةً و"اكسر" جناحيك فوقي "إرفعني" قوس قزح وكن اللون الثامن لا ظرف مكان "يعطفني" عليك لا ظرف زمان "يجرّك" إليّ لنخترع "سكوناً" إيذاناً بالتقاء الساكنين!
