كتاب العِقْد الفريد لأبي عمر أحمد بن محمد بن عبد ربه الأندلسي (246- 327 هجرية) واحد من كتب المختارات الأدبية التي وصلت من الأندلس.
والعقد كتاب ضخم يعكس ثقافة صاحبه الواسعة مثلما يعكس قدرته على التّنظيم والتبويب وتقسيم ما اختاره إلى أبواب، والمتأمّل في العقد يرى أنّ ابن عبد ربه تصوّره مكوّناً من خمس وعشرين جوهرة كريمة، لكنّه لم يُسمِّ إلاّ اثنتي عشرة.
وقد حظي العقد بأهمية كبرى بين كتب المختارات نظراً لطابعه المنظّم والموسوعي، ولما فيه من حسن الإختيار.
