تدور أحداث الرواية في سورية، وتتأثر بالأحداث التي بدأت تتأزم فيها، بدءاً من شهر آذار 2011، أبطالها أربعة شبان من الجنسين؛ جهاد وميّ، وسامي ويارا، ومن طائفتين مختلفتين، في بيئة يتعايش أهلها؛ بكل ما يزخر به مجتمعهم من تنوع ديني ومذهبي... تنشأ بينهم علاقات حب، كالتي تنشأ بين بعض طلبة الجامعات، ويواجهون كل عقبات التقاليد الإجتماعية السائدة، ونزوات الشباب، وتطوح بهم أحداث الأزمة وتداعياتها، بكل ما تزخر به من مآسٍ وآلام وعذابات!!...
