فرحة نابعة من كل قلب يا بلادي... أصبح الصبح وها نحن مع النور التقينا، التقى جيل البطولات بجيل التضحيات التقى كل شهيد قهر الظلم ومات، بشهيد لم يزل يبذر في الأرض بذور الذكريات أبداً ما هنت يا سوداننا يوماً علينا". "أحزان الزمن الغابر" حكاية تعكس صور الواقع، وأقع شعب يتطلع نحو الحية والخلاص من العبودية والظلم والقهر إنها تحكي قصة كل شعب عاش في الظلام ويبحث عن الفجر، هذا الفجر الذي يحمل معه نور الحرية و العودة إلى الأرض بعد الغربة.
"أحزان الزمن الغابر" حكاية شعب يتطلع نحو الديمقراطية والحرية رغم الغربة التي طال أمدها. "أحزان الزمن الغابر" تحكي آخر فصولها مع انبلاج فجر الحب والخبز والحرية، حيث يطارد الصبح فلول الظلام، ويلوي الطيبون ذراع القهر والظلم والاستبداد، هناك، التقى، في لحظة تاريخية، جيل البطولات بجيل التضحيات، حيث أصبح الصبح ولم يبق سجن ولا سجان، حيث شدّ وثاق لوثاق، وقهر كل شهيد الظلم ومات...
