Book Description
أحمد بن أبي طاهر طيفور الكاتب الملقب بابو الفضل هو مؤرخ وأديب وجغرافي عراقي (819م-893م) (204 هـ - 280 هـ). ولد في بغداد في عائلة يرجع نسبها إلى ملوك خراسان وهو قول ليس له سند علمي. له تصانيف كثيرة في السفر والرحلات وأخبار الشعراء، ويعزى إلى ابن طيفور أول مؤلف تاريخي عن بغداد هو (تاريخ بغداد)، أو (كتاب بغداد) الذي لم ينتقل الينا منه غير الجزء السادس، ولكنه كان من مصادر الطبري الأساسية. وقد جمع فيه مؤلفه أخبار المأمون منذ دخوله بغداد سنة 204 ه وحتى وفاته سنة 218 ه، فيفيض فيه ويبحث في المسائل الإدارية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية للبلاد وفي ذلك العصر.
ومن مؤلفات الكاتب أيضا كتاب (بلاغات النساء)، وهو كتاب لبلاغات النساء وجواباتهن وطرائف كلامهن وملح نوادرهن وأخبار ذوات الرأي منهن على حسب ما بلغته الطاقة واقتضته الرواية واقتصرت عليه النهاية مع ما جمع من أشعارهن في كل فن.
وفي هذا الكتاب دراسة جاءت في قسمين تحدث المؤلف في القسم الأول منها عن حياة أبو الفضل مبيناً اسمه، وكنيته وأصله ومولده ثم تحدث عن خلقه وخلائقه واستعرض قائمة بمصنفاته، ثم انتقل بالحديث في القسم الثاني من هذا الكتاب عن ديوان أبو الفضل ورسائله حيث اندرج شعره تحت جميع فنون الشعر المعروفة من: مديح، ورثاء، وهجو وخاصة اهاجيه في ابن الرومي، والبحتري، وغيرهما، ووصف، وعتاب، وحكمة، واعتذار، وسخرية، وشكوى ثم استعرض رسائله حيث ذكر المؤلف المناسبة الذي استدعت كتابتها وعرض نص الرسالة.
