كتاب مهم يتضمن شرحاً لصحيح البخاري الذي يعد أول الكتب الستة في الحديث وأفضلها. ويعتبر هذا الشرح من أهم الشروح على صحيح البخاري لما امتاز به من اختصار غير مخلّ مع الاحاطة بكل ما يحتاج إلى الشرح من غوامض الجامع الصحيح.
و"محمد أحمد عبد العزيز سالم" إذ يعيد تحقيق وطباعة هذا الكتاب، نشير إلى أنه قد بذل أقصى جهد في إخراجه بحلة أنيقة مع التركيز على المنهج العلمي الذي تمثل بما يلي: أولاً: التزم وضع "الجامع الصحيح" مشكلاً كاملاً قبل الشرح، ثم اتبعه بـ "تحفة الباري" للشيخ زكريا الأنصاري، وميز ضمن الشرح الكلام المشروح من الصحيح باللون الأحمر. ثانياً: خرج جميع الآيات القرآنية الواردة في المتن وفي الشرح، مع التزامه بالقراءة التي أوردها الإمام البخاري من صحيحة. ثالثاً: قسم الكتاب إلى ستة أجزاء، م ع التزامه ببدء كل جزء بكتاب مستقل من كتب الصحيح.
