قد يتساءل البعض عن جدوى إعداد أنطولوجيا للقصة القصيرة جداً في العالم العربي. هذا النوع الأدبي الذي عرف تألقاً في أمريكا اللاتينية خلال القرن العشرين، بحكم معطيات تاريخية وإجتماعية أفرزها الوضع السياسي. فكان ظهور القصة القصيرة جداً كاستجابة لظروف وسياقات ثقافية وإجتماعية ... وهنا يحضر السؤال هل ينطبق هذا القول على بلدان أخرى، وخاصة العربية منها التي بدت وكأنها تعيش نفس السياقات الثقافية والإجتماعية، والجواب يأتي عند الكاتبة "سناء بلحور" التي ارتأت أن تكون هذه الأنطولوجيا بصيغة المؤنث فجاء العنوان مطابقاً للغرض "الأنطولوجيا العربية للقصة القصيرة جداً بصيغة المؤنث" والذي أرادته الكاتبة احتفاء بالكتابة النسائية التي تتميز بخصوصية أنثوية تتميز بالرهافة الوجدانية والرقة والجمال دون ابتعادها عن العمق الفكري الذي يعكس رؤية الأقلام النسوية المميزة لقضايا الحياة. ورصد أدق التفاصيل الإنسانية والتعبير عنها بفن القصة القصيرة جداً. وهو ما عبّرت عنه الكاتبة بالقول: "إن هذا العمل الذي شاركت فيه أكثر من مبدعة لهو دليل على انشغال المرأة بالكتابة القصصية التي تلامس كيانها وواقعها، وتجعلها تقترب أكثر من هموم الحياة وتشارك بوعيها النيّر وفكرها الثاقب في تغيير الواقع عبر نظرتها التي تصبغ بها الحياة من خلال كتاباتها ..." وهو بالضبط ما يجعل من هذا العمل مرجعاً لكل من يهتم بالكتابة النسائية العربية، خصوصاً في جنس القصة القصيرة جداً.
