لقد جعل القاص خليل خميس من تكوين البطل تشكيلاً متعدد الأحلام ومتمادياً في علاقته بالعالم المحيط من جهة، وعالم طفولته وما تحمله الذاكرة من جهة أخرى "متذكراً ما رسمه على جدرانه من صور الطفولة العذبة والأقاصيص الشائعة التي نبت فكره وقلبه منها".
وهكذا يمضي القاص خميس في بقية قصصه القصيرة مُجسداً خبرته القصصية في التكثيف المجازي وإستقطاب الوقائع المحكية إلى مركز درامي يشكل محور اللعبة السردية المتواترة في كل قصة.
