"أصدقاء مريم" مجموعة شعرية رسم من خلالها حسن الربيح للأطفال عالماً خاصاً بهم، وذلك عبر قصائد نثرية جميلة ولطيفة، تنطوي على رسالة إيجابية في مجال أدب الأطفال، وبمفردات تضج بالحياة والمرح، شفافة ورقيقة، وبنفس الوقت هادفة، مشفوعة برسوم مناسبة ومعبرة تقرب موضوع كل قصيدة إلى ذهن الطفل وتسهل عليه عملية التفاعل معه مما يؤدي إلى تحفيز اهتمامه وإثارة رغباته لمعرفة المزيد عن أهمية "الصداقة" ، "احترام الوالدين" ، "الطبيعة" ، "المدرسة" ، "المنزل" وغيرها مما يحيط بعالمه الصغير. ففي قصيدة "أحلام" سوف يتعرف الطفل على عالم الطبيعة وعناصره، وليعرف أنه مختلف عن عالم الإنسان، وذلك حينما يسأل لماذا لا يملك ريشاً ليطير به. لنقرأ المقطع الآتي:
"العصفور يطير/ والكروان يطير/ والزرزور يطير/ فلماذا لا أملك ريشاً،/ وتكون يداي جناحين؟./ الأسماك تعوم/ والدلفين يعوم/ فلماذا ليست لي رئةٌ، تتنفس ماءً، وهواءْ؟ (...)".
تضم المجموعة إثنا عشر قصيدة نثرية جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "البيت" ، "أحلام" ، "كيف تكون الأشياء؟" ، "أصدقاء مريم" ، "البحر" ، "المطر" ، "حوارات قصيرة" ، "تقول الحكاية" ، "طفلة غزة" ، (...) وعناوين أخرى.
