عمل المؤلف في هذا البحث إلى تقديم قراءة واستخلاصات في تاريخ ونشأة قرية فرعم ثم النظر إلى أبرز المراحل التي مرت بها ثم الحديث حول الآثار التاريخية والدينية والمظاهر الطبيعية من تضاريس ومناخ ومياه، بعد ذلك كانت للمؤلف وقفه أمام أصول أبناء القرية وتقسيمهم الجغرافي من مساكن وحمائل، بعد ذلك ذهب نحو قراءة النشاط الاجتماعي من علاقات اجتماعية مدوناً عن العرس الفلسطيني والزواج في القرية وعادات الأفراح والأتراح والعيد وعاداته وليالي السهر والسمر، ثم قدم لمحة عامة عن الزراعة والصناعة والتجارة والثروة الحيوانية لما تمثله من ارتباط قرية فرعم بالأرض بشكل مباشر. وبعد ذلك كانت له وقفة من صفحات نضال قرية فرعم السياسي والوطني من محاربة القوات البريطانية اليهودية.
