في الوقت الذي تدور فيه قصائد هيفاء الجبري - في أغلبها - حول مضامين الذات الأنثوية التي تشتغل عليها لتخلق منها عالماً جمالياً مشحوناً بالدلالات والأسئلة، فإنها في الوقت ذاته تسعى - على مستوى الشكل - إلى إعادة بناء البيت الشعري القديم، لتقدمه في قالب جديد يستفيد من قيم القصيدة الحديثة ويوظف تقنياتها لتنتج قصيدة ذات حساسية إبداعية فريدة تشير بوضوح إلى هذه التجربة الشعرية التي تشبه ذاتها في لغتها وصورها ورفرفتها الخاصة.
