الحديث القدسي أو الحديث الإلهي وهو ما كان لفظه من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، ومعناه من عند الله عزّ وجل، وذلك عن طريق الإلهام أو من خلال الرؤيا الصادقة يراها الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم، إن هذه الأحاديث لا تتطرق أبداً إلى الأحكام الفقهية أو التشريعية بالتفصيل وإنما تأتي على ذكرها عرضاً وبغاية الإيجاز والاختصار، ويلاحظ أيضاً أن معظم الأمور التي تعالجها هذه الأحاديث القدسية، وتركز في الحديث عنها إنما هي التربية الإيمانية، وتقويم النفس الإنسانية وتزكيتها من الخبائث والادران، وتطهيرها من حبّ الدنيا وأمراض القلب وعلات الروح من كبر وعجب وأنانية وركون إلى الدنيا وتعلق بشهواتها.
والأحاديث القدسية تطرق أبواب الخير والبر، وتفتح المجالات الواسعة أمم المؤمن ليتزود من هذه الدنيا لتلك الدار، التي سوف تبقى وتدوم.
