أما القسم الثاني فجاء تحت عنوان "في الهاجرة" إذ تشتد هذه الهاجرة في البوادي وتشوي جسوم الناس، وتفتنهم في طباعهم وعاداتهم وأخلاقهم ومفاهيمهم... فيعيشون مآسي إنسانية تكلفهم ثمناً باهظاً من راحتهم وعلاقاتهم بعضهم ببعض، وتهتز عندهم القيم الإنسانية والدينية، وتجتاحهم الغرائز والأوهام والأحقاد والرغائب الجامحة... التي لا يثبت أمامها الخلق، كمن تلفحهم الهاجرة ويجدون أن لا بد من تدبير يتجاوز المألوف، والعقل، والقيم، والأخلاق...
