Book Description
الأعشى أحد مشاهير الشعراء العرب، ومن أصحاب المعلقات العشر، وجاء بين فترتين تاريخيتين مهمتين في الجاهلية والإسلام، وتناثرت قصائده وأسفاره ما بين مدح وذم ووصف وغزل مع الوقوف على الأطلال ووصف للمعالم والآثار.
وقد اكتسب الأعشى ثقافة واسعة من أسفاره وتنقلاته؛ ولذلك نجد في شعره ذكراً للملوك والأمم السابقة ولكثير من القصص والأحداث التاريخية، يوظفها بشكل جيد في شعره، وهذه الإشارات والتضمينات تدلّ على معرفة جيّدة تفوّق فيها على الشّعراء الجاهلييّن.
ولأن الشاعر من مواليد (منفوحة)، وتقع حالياً ضمن أحياء مجينة الرياض، فقد رأت إدارة النادي عقد ندوة عنه، إذ الاهتمام بأدب منطقة الرياض وتاريخها لا يعني الاقتصار على التاريخ المعاصر فحسب؛ لذا اتجهت الأنظار إلى التاريخ القديم، وإلى شاعر أنجبته هذه الأرض، واكتسب شهرته منها، وهو الشاعر العربي الكبير الأعشى (ميمون بن قيس)، أحد شعراء المعلّقات وصاحب (منفوحة) المتوفّي سنة 7 من الهجرة (629م).
وهذا الكتاب يضم البحوث التي ألقيت في الندوة التي عُقدت عنه عام 1433هـ/2012م، وتناوت شعر الأعشى وجوانب من حياته، وهي لأربعة باحثين، وهم: د.محمد بن عبد الرحمن الربيّع، ود. عبد الرحمن بن ناصر السعيد، ود. سعد بن عبد الرحمن العريفي، وأ. راشد بن محمد عساكر.
