إن الأسرة هي اللَبِنة الأولى في بناء المجتمع الإنساني وبصلاحها يصلح المجتمع برمته ، ومن هنا فإن الشريعة أولت اهتماماً بليغاً بصياغة هذه اللَبِنة وصيانتها من كل سوء يمسّه . فنرى في القرآن الكريم دعوة لوقابتها بعد الدعوة لوقاية النفس ، وذلك في قوله تعالى [ قُوا أنفسكم وأهليكم ناراً وقودها الناسُ والحجارة ] ، ولا ريب أن النفس الإنسانية لا تسكن إلا ضمن جو عائلي خال من كل المشوشات والمكدّرات ، وقد دلّت الروايات والتجارب على أن الشيطان إذا يئس من العبد أثار الجو الأسري ضده لإخراجه من سكونه واستقراره .
ومن الواضح أن تشتت البال من أكبر العوائق في عملية السير الأنفسي ، والذي به تتحقق العبودية التي من أجلها خلق الإنسان .
