يهدف هذا الكتاب إلى تعليم اللغة العربية قراءةً وكتابةً وذلك من خلال كتاب لتعليم العربيّة وقرص مضغوط تعليمي وآخر للإستماع، يراعي المنهج التّوجيهات الواردة في الإطار المرجعيّ الأوروبيّ المشترك للّغات.
وقد جاءت مفردات هذا الكتاب مشكولة، أمّا النّصوص السّمعيّة فقد تُركت من دون شَكل نظراً لتلقّيها سماعِيّاً، علماً بأنّه سيتمّ تخفيف الحركات مع تقدم المستوى ليصل الدّارس إلى مرحلة يستطيع فيها قراءة النّصوص غير المشكولة كالجرائد والمجلات وغيرها.
حيث تناول هذا المنهج معظم مناحي الحياة العمليّة ممَّا يُوفر للدّارس ذخيرة من المفردات الّتي تساعده على التّعبير ببساطة عمّا يريد.
بالإضافة إلى ذلك، ضم الكتاب فقرة خاصّة ببعض المفردات الهامّة والشّائِعة بالعاميّة والدّارجة.
