شتان ما بين الماضي والحاضر, شتان ما بين الأمس واليوم, شتان ما بين حياة الإنسان في الأزمنة الخوالي, وحياته اليوم.
نحن في عصر نشهد فيه كل يوم تطوراً علمياً جديداً, في مجال العلم, وفي مجال الطب, وفي مجال الفضاء, وفي مجال الصناعة, من حيث الاختراعات والاكتشافات, في سائر متطلبات الحياة.
والحقل الذي شهد تطوراً ملحوظاً, تسارعت خطواته في السنوات الأخيرة بشكل ملحوظ, هو حقل الاتصالات, فالحمام الزاجل, أضحى برقية, والبرقية غدت فاكساً, والفاكس غدا عبر الانترنت, والهاتف السلكي غداً خلوياً, أو نقالاً, أو جوالاً, حسب التسميات المتداولة تبعاً لاختلاف الألسن.
ولكن لهذه الوسائل الحديثة سلبياتها رغم كل الإيجابيات التي تحدثنا عنها آنفاً, فمن سلبياتها أنها قد تستخدم لأغراض التجسس, إضافة لبعض الأضرار الصحية والاجتماعية على الإنسان والمجتمع.
من هذا المنطلق كان لابد للشرع الإسلامي من إظهار الأحكام الشرعية لكل الجوانب المتعلقة بهذه الوسائل, وهذا ما انبرى محمد صادق محمد الكرباسي له في هذا الكرّاس, فسجل أحكام استعمال هذه الوسائل وحليتها, ومتى يكون أو يغدو استعمالها محرماً, وكيف ذلك ولماذا وقد قاد الشيخ حسن رضا الغديري بوضع مقدمة له, وقام أيضاً بالتعليق عليه في الهامش.
