وشاءت مكتبة لبنان ناشرون أن تغنيه أكثر فألحقت به مسرداً عربياً فرنسياً بمصطلحات النحو العربي، صنعه المستشرق أ.غوغويه فسدت ثلاث حاجات في كتاب واحد: حاجة لغوية، حاجة علمية، حاجة نحوية.
ويمتاز هذا القاموس بعنايته: بالدلالات الحقيقية، بالدلالات المجازية، بالدلالات الصرفية صيغاً وجنساً وعدداً، وبالإكثار من المترادفات والأمثال الموضحة والتعابير السياقية والاصطلاحية.
وأهم ما فيه أنه قاموس فرنسي عربي لأنه يردف المدخل الفرنسي بمرادف فرنسي أو بشرح توضيحي ثم يضع المقابل العربي. لكل ذلك قررت مكتبة لبنان ناشرون إعادة طبعة عمرً بقاعدة تقوم على: أ-إحياء الأصيل من التراث. ب-مواكبة العصر. ج-استشراف تطلعات المستقبل.
