Book Description
"ابن البلد" هو الإسم الذي اختاره نبيه غانم/ الصحافي اللبناني للتوقيع تحت كل مقال يكتبه في جريدة الديار اللبنانية، وها هو اليوم يعود إصدارها في كتاب يحمل ذات العنوان.
في الكتاب مقالات مختارة تشكل في مضمونها مقاربة معمقة لمجمل الأمور السياسية، والإقتصادية، والزراعية، والصناعية والتجارية في لبنان، تناول من خلالها الكاتب شؤون الناس وشجونهم، وقضاياهم وكل ما له علاقة بالوطن على امتداده، وخصوصاً مناطق البقاع راشيا التي عانت الكثير.
في مقدمة الكتاب يضع الكاتب الهدف من وراء جمعه المقالات أمام القارئ بقوله:" ... لقد بسطنا في هذا الكتاب ما يجب تحقيقه من تدابير متنوعة ومتكاملة من أجل الإنماء الإقتصادي الشامل لكافة القطاعات الإنتاجية، ومنها رزمة من الإجراءات الضرورية للتنمية اللإقليمية المتوازنة، كإنشاء مجالس إقليمية منتخبة على تواصل وتنسيق مع المجلس الإقتصادي والإجتماعي المركزي وفقاً لما نصَ عليه اتفاق الطائف، وتقوية صلاحيات وإمكانات البلديات واتحاداتها، وإنشاء لا مركزية مالية لصالح هذه الإتحادات، وتطوير النقل المشترك السريع وإعادة تأهيل شبكة السكك الحديد...".
والمقالات التي يتضمنها هذا الكتاب، هي جزء من مجموعة كتبها نبيه غانم في العقد الأخير من القرن العشرين (1990- 2001)، وجاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "أنقذوا سهل القاع –الهرمل"، "الموظفون مكسر عصا"، لمن الولاء؟"، "أجل مارون إن حكى!"، "بين كذب الرجال وكذب الحكومات" (...) ومقالات أخرى.
