Book Description
الثعالبي (962-1038م) أديب لغوي ومؤرخ عباسي من نيسابور. جمع أشتات النثر والنظم، وكان إمام المؤلفين في عصره، فسار ذكره في الآفاق واشتهرت + بين أهل العلم والمعرفة، حتى قيل فيه: هو جاحظ نيسابور، وزبدة الأحقاب والدهور.
كان طويل الباع في الآداب، رقيق العبارة، دقيق المعاني، كثير النوادر.
ترك مجموعة من المؤلفات الهامة، جمع فيها أشعار العرب ورسائلهم وأخبارهم وأحوالهم مما يدل على إطلاع واسع.
ومن أهم ما تركه: سحر البلاغة، التمثل والمحاضرة، النهاية في الكتابة، ثمار القلوب وفقه اللغة وسر العربية وهو من أهم معاجم المعاني التي ظهرن في اللغة، إنه مكنز جامع حسن التبويب، دقيق الترتيب... عالج فيه ما ينيف على الثلاثين موضوعاً عاماً، قسمها على أبواب على فصول تتفاوت طولاً وقصراً بحسب معطيات اللغة العربية.
وتدرج في ترتيب المعاني، بما يعني الكاتب والمترجم على اختيار اللفظ المناسب والدقيق.
كما واستشهد بالآيات القرآنية الكريمة، والأحاديث النبوية الشريفة والأشعار والأرجاز والمثال، وأكثر من المقول مع عزوها إلى أصحابها، وفي ذلك أمانة علمية وسعة اطلاع.
هذا ولم يفته تطعيم مواده بمعلومات صرفية أو نحوية مما جعل معجمه جليل الفائدة للطلاب.
وزيادة في الإفادة اعتنت دائرة المعاجم في مكتبة لبنان ناشرون بتذيل المعجم بمسرد لغوي عام يسهل الوصول بسرعة إلى المواد المطلوبة، ويجعله أقرب تناولاً وأيسر منالاً، وذلك عملاً بخطتها في تقريب التراث العربي والإسلامي إلى شداة العلم.
