.. لم أكن أعرف شيئاً عن الحب. كان في أوردتي دمٌ ينبض بالبكاء والعزلة، دمٌ لا يشبه في شيء دم الناس. كنت أستتر خائفة من كل شيء، من أقرب الناس إليَّ، ولكن عندما رأيتكَ وجدت فيك ملاذاً، أعرف أنه لن يكون لي! كنتُ أقترب منك خائفة عليك، وكنتَ وحدك أكثر مني خوفاً رغم أنك تحيا بين الناس، تضحك معهم ، تشرب ، ترقص، تخفي غضباً لا يعرفه أحد منهم، ووحدك كنت ملاذي.
بين الحقيقة والخرافة، بين الوهم والإنفعال، وعلى غفلةٍ من زمن، قيل لنا هذا وطن. وعندما أعلنا كل هذا الولاء، وعندما رحل آلاف الشهداء، وعندما تهاوت كل هذه القصائد، كل هذا الشجر، وصار البحر بعيداً.. أقاموا قرب أرواحنا آلاف خطوط التماس، وطلبوا منا أن نبدأ من جديد.. وبين الحقيقة والخرافة، بين الوهم والانفعال، ما زلنا نبحث عن زمنٍ مختلف لنعيد تشكيل الخارطة.
