قسم الكتاب إلى بابين الأول يتحدث عن الإقتصاد الجزئي والثاني يهتم بدراسة الإقتصاد الكلي ويضم تسعة فصول تبتدئ بالمشكلة الإقتصادية ثم الأنظمة الإقتصادية المعاصرة كأسلوب ووسيلة لحل المشكلة الإقتصادية ومن ثم عرج المؤلف على عناصر الإنتاج واستعرض بعد ذلك نظريات سلوك المستهلك ونظرية القيمة ونظرية التوزيع والنقود والبنوك والناتج القومي والدخل القومي.
