نقدم هذه السلسلة الجديدة "في علوم الأديان" لطالبي المعرفة في بلادنا وهم كثر في جامعاتنا، ومعاهدنا العليا، ومدارسنا الثانوية، ونوادينا العلمية، وأوساطنا الثقافية. فعسى أن تأتي أجزاء السلسلة بالنفع وتساعد على توسيع نطاق المعارف والتعمق في مواضيع تهم الإنسان كلّه، ذهناً وقلباً، فتمهد السبل للحوار النصوح بين الأديان والمذاهب، وللتعاون في إطار العيش المشترك بين الجماعات المختلفة.
والكتاب الذي بين يدينا "الظاهرة الدينية-نشأة والخلق" يأتي ضمن هذه السلسلة وهو يعالج موضوع نشأة الخلق، وذلك عبر مخطط هو التالي: نبدأ بتحديد المفاهيم التي نستعملها منعاً للالتباس. ثم نتخذ أمثلة من أديان مختلفة: من حضارات تقليدية قديمة، كما توجد في أفريقيا وأستراليا وأمريكا الشمالية، ثم من ديانات ذات ثقافة رفيعة مثل الهندوسية وأديان الشرق القديم واليهودية والإسلام. وتتخلل العرض أحياناً شواهد متخذة من التراث المسيحي.
أخيراً نعود إلى فحص هذه المعطيات لنستنبط عناصر شاملة توضح وظيفة قصص نشوء الخلق في حياة الإنسان وفقاً لنظرية الأديان.
