الشهادة هي غاية الإيثار والغداء، لأن المقاتل يجسد حبه، وعشقه لله، وشجاعته في معركة القتال بالدم، ويرسم عقائده الإسلامية بلون الدم، ويثبت دعاوية بأوضح البراهين العملية، حيث إنه يتعامل بما وعدة الله من الفوز العظيم. قال الله العظيم: إن الله اشترى من المؤمنين أنفسهم وأموالهم بأن لهم الجنة، يقاتلون في سبيل الله فيقتلون ويقتلون وعداً عليه حقاً في التوراة والإنجيل والقرآن..."
تظهر قيمة الشهادة من الآية الكريمة حيث إن الله عز وجل هو الكشتري والبائع، هو المؤمن المقاتل: والمبيع: هو المال والنفس حيث يكونان عزيزين عند كل شخص سوى المؤمن. والثمن: هو الجنة وهذا أمر نزلت به الكتب السماوية من التوراة والإنجيل والقرآن.
