شعب قرية جليلية، تقع على بعد عشرة أميال إلى الشرق من عكا، وفي هذه القرية أبصر المؤلف النور حيث فهيا رموز، تحمل في معانيها روح تاريخ طويل الأجيال كما يرى المؤلف، فعلى مدخلها الشرقي تقوم كنيسة مهجورة وإلى الشمال الغربي منها أطلال جامع متهدم.
وهو في كتابه هذا يرى أن الغاية الرئيسية للقرآن هي إقامة دين موحد في الجزيرة العربية يشتمل على الأديان الكتابية التي سبقته، فالدين واحد منذ نوح وإبراهيم حتى محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، وكتب الله التي أنزلها للأديان واحدة لذلك جاء القرآن مصدقاً لما سبقه منها. ويزعم المؤلف أن القرآن لم يأت بجديد ولم يضف شيئاً إلى ما هو سابق عليه.
ويرى المؤلف أن الوحدة بين الديانات الثلاثة وحدة مستحيلة بسبب تناقض المضمون الإنساني في ما بينهما، ويزعم المؤلف أيضاً أن غاية النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم هي توحيد العرب والنهوض بهم في دولة منظمة وقد أدرك أن الدين ظاهرة اجتماعية وأنه من أقوى العوامل التي تساعده على بلوغ غايته الإنسانية فتوسله إليها، وقد وضع لذلك خطة سار عليها بكل دقة وبكل حزم وتصميم.
