Book Description
المصنف محمد بن محمد بن ميمون هو من علماء بغداد في أواخر القرن السادس للهجرة، وقد كان من الشغوفين بالأدب والشعر، الباحثين عنه في مظانّه، المنقبين عنه في كل مكتبة وخزانة. فهو كما قال عن نفسه، لم يترك ديواناً عرفه، أو خزانة كتب، إلا اطلع عليها، ونقل منها.
والقارئ المتأني لقصائد هذا الكتاب يتأكد أن الرجل كان ذا بصر وعلم بالشعر، وله ذوق ناقد في اختياراته. ولقد امتاز ابن المبارك في جمعه لكتابه هذا بالعلمية والدقة والضبط، فلقد كان يتحرى الروايات الصحيحة الجيدة، كما كان يذكر سنداً لكثير من قصائده التي قرأها على شيوخه.
ويظهر منهج ابن المبارك واضحاً حيث أجمع في هذا الكتاب ألف قصيدة، اختارها من أشعار العرب الذين يُستشهد بأشعارهم وجعله في عشرة أجزاء، مضمناً كل جزء منها مائة قصيدة، كتب بعض غريبها في جانب الأوراق، مدخلاً فيها قصائد المفضليات، وقصائد الأصمعي التي اختارها، ونقائض جرير والفرزدق، والقصائد التي ذكرها أبو بكر بن دريد في كتاب له سماه: الشوادر، وخير قصائد هذيل، والذين ذكرهم ابن سلام الجمحي في كتاب الطبقات، وهو إلى جانب ذلك لم يخل بذكر أحد الشعراء وتقديم بعضهم على بعض وغنما قدم كعب بن زهير، مختتماً بهاشميات الكميت تيمناً وتبرّكاً بمدح الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم في قصيدة كعب، وذكره صلى الله عليه وآله في شعر الهاشميات التي اختتم بها هذا الكتاب.
إلى جانب ذلك فإن ابن المبارك قد ضمّن كتابه هذا بعض المقطعات لجودتها. فمن ذلك ما ذكره في شعر نهشل بن حريّ، حيث يعلل سبب إدخاله لهذه المقطعات بقوله: "قال يرثي كثير بن الصلت الكندي، وكتبتها لجودتها، وهي قطعة، ولم أدخلها في القصائد لأن شرطي القصائد".
