"الكيد الأكيد" نصوص تنتمي لمفهوم (القصة القصيدة) ، إذ اهتمت المؤلفتان للعمل أسيل نايف وشيماء السلمان في تقديم كل شخصية وموضوعتها في نص مستقل، وبنفس الوقت تخبرانا عن الحدث، ولكن من حيث روح الفائدة التي يحققها الشعر لأن النصوص هي أصلاً مكتوبة بلغة الشعر؛ ولا سيما تكثيف الجانب الشعوري العاطفي بحيث يصبح البناء الشعري جزءاً من تراجيديا الحدث بصوره ولغته واختياراته المتعددة إلى حدٍ ما.
في العنوان الأول للنصوص "زفافي بالجنة أجمل" ، نقع على فتاة تستعد ليوم زفافها، وسرعان ما يتحول الحدث / العرس إلى شهادة/ مأتم. تحاول المؤلفتان من خلال هذا المشهد تأسيس صورة عامة للواقع المأساوي الذي تعيشه البلدان العربية في ظل الحروب، وغياب الأمن والإستقرار، لنقرأ هذا المقطع.
وفي غضون أيامٍ سيحلّ موعدُ زفافي!/ سأكون الأميرة في تلك الليلة أو سأكون سيدة الحفل ../ أتلهف لدخول حياةٍ جديدةٍ .. أتلهفها بشغفٍ ../ أنا عروس .. وكل عروس تحلمُ بحفلةِ زفاف كما تتمناها/ (...)/ وأنا غارقة بالتفكير .. فجأة/ دخل علينا أخي خائفاً .. واضح جداً أنه متعبٌ، وقفت ../ ووقف الجميع/ سألناه ما بك؟/ لم يُجب ../ عندما رأيته في تلك الحالة عدتُ لأجلس في مكاني صامدةٌ ../ علمتُ أنني لن أسمع حديثاً يسرني/ صرخ أخي مذهولاً ليخبرنا ../ بأن العريس/ اختطف !! ولم نجده".
يتألف الكتاب من فصلان: الفصل الأول بعنوان"شيءٌ من حياتهم" ، والفصل الثاني بعنوان "شيءٌ من ألمهم".
هذا، زقد تم التنويه في الكتاب أن "بعض القصص حقيقية" ، حُكيت لنا خصيصاً من قبل أشخاصٍ غرقوا في دمائهم من غدر الظالمين .. وظلوا يتهافتون بالنجاة .. ووجب أن نعلن عما خفي وراء ستارة أولئك المظلومين.
