وهذا الكتاب يضمّ مجموعة مقالات تحاول مقاربة الشأن الكردي في غموضه وتعقيده وتشعباته والاحتمالات التي ينطوي عليها فبدءاً من العام 1992 شهدت الأحوال الكردية تبدلات دراماتيكية: من مأساة النزوح الملاييني إلى قيام حكومة كردية... وهذه المقالات هي إلى حد ما تسجيل لتلك الأحداث وتعليق عليها، وقراءة لسلسلة أحداث، منها ما انصرم، ومنها ما ينتظر الانصرام.
والغاية من نظم هذا المؤلف هو تشكيل صورة عامة ومفصلة عن المسألة الكردية في تفجّرها الراهن وإعطاء القارئ مدخلاً مناسباً للوقوف على أساسيات تلك المسألة والإحاطة بجوانبها الشائكة.
