هذا الكتاب معرض: تجمعت كلماته، وتنوعت صورة، وزهت ألوانه، وحسن تنسيقه... أما كلماته، فجمل تامة المعنى، أو أسئلة تبحث عن جواب، أو تعابير تحتاج إلى لفظة، يختارها الولد من عدة كلمات...وأما صورة فكثيرة: أحياناً تحتوي الصفحة صورة واحدة وأحياناً أخرى تحتوي مجموعة من الصور الملونة أو التي تحتاج إلى تلوين... وقد يطلب من الولد أن يرسم صورة تتناسب مع مستواه.
وأما ألوانه فهي جاهزة حيناً، محددة حيناً آخر. في الحالين يعتاد الصغير في هذه المرحلة على ممارسة لعبة الألوان. أما تنسيقه فجذاب بحيث تكون الكلمة تحت الصورة، أو مقابلة، وقد تصطف الكلمات على المدرج كالتلاميذ المنظمين... هذا الكتاب يبعد الولد عن الرقابة بصوره وألوانه...إنه أشبه بحديثة أزهارها مبهجة وأثمارها مغذية.
