إن الله تعالى قد امتنَّ علينا أمة الإسلام وخصَّنا بخصائص وفضلنا بفضائل لا تحصى، وأنعم علينا بنعم لا تُستقصى؛ ومن هذه النعم السوابغ والمنن النوابغ، المسجد الأقصى مسرى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وأولى القبلتين، هذا المسجد المقدَّس المعظَّم الذي جعله الله مقياساً للأمن والأمان والهدوء في العالم أجمع، وجعله مصدر قوة الأمة، حينما تجد في هذا المسجد في حوزة المسلمين تجد الهدوء والأمن والأمان يعمّ العالم أجمع.
وقد تضافرت جهود العلماء في بيان مكانة الأقصى وبيت المقدس، فألّفوا في فضائله كتباً ومؤلفات كثيرة، ومن هذه المؤلفات الجيدة في العرض والتناول هذا الكتاب المانع الذي حققه الأستاذ "أبي الحسن الأمين" وهو كتاب: "الروض المغرس في فضائل البيت المقدس" للإمام الشريف "أبي نصر" وهو أكبر كتاب في بابه، جمع فيه كل ما يتعلق بهذا الموضوع، وكل ما له صلة ربه.
وفي تقديمه لهذا الكتاب تطرق المحقق إلى الآتي: ترجمة المؤلف - وفيها فصلان: 1-الفصل الأول: عصر المؤلف: وفيه أربعة مباحث: أ-الأول: الحالة السياسية، ب-الثاني: الحالة الإقتصادية، ج-الثالث: الحالة الإجتماعية، د-الرابع: الحالة الثقافية؛ 2-الفصل الثاني: التعريف بالمؤلف، وفيه مباحث: أ-الأول: اسمه ونسبه وكنيته ولقبه، ب-الثاني: مولده وطلبه للعلم، ج-الثالث: تلامذته ومؤلفاته، د-الرابع: ثناء العلماء عليه، هـ- الخامس: وفاته.
التعريف بالكتاب، وفيه سبعة مباحث: 1-الأول: اسم الكتاب، 2-الثاني: تاريخ تأليفه، 3-الثالث: سبب تأليفه، 4-الرابع: مصادره، 5-الخامس: أهميته ومميزاته، 6-السادس: المآخذ على الكتاب، 7-السابع: أثر الكتاب فيمن بعده؛ ثم بيان عمله في الكتاب وأهم النسخ التي اعتمد عليها.
