مثل هذا التكيّف، بما يتلاءم مع الوضع الراهن، هو ما يفرض نفسه اليوم بشكل مؤكد. فما يتوجب إعادة تفحّصه مجدداً وبشكل طازج، هو تحديد العدالة والشروط التي تقضي بتوزيع منصف للخيرات داخل المجتمع وكذلك أيضاً مهمة القضاة وآليات تطبيق القوانين وحتى مضمون حقوق الإنسان، وكل ذلك من منظار من يهتدي بإضاءة التاريخ ومن يتطلّع بلا أي تردد نحو الحاضر وما يقتضي القيام بهم خيارات تنتظم المستقبل.
بينوا فريدمان هو أستاذ محاضر في جامعة بروكسل الحرّة، وغي هارشر هو بروفسور عادي في جامعة بروكسل الحرّة، وهو أيضاً عميد كلية الفلسفة والآداب ومدير مركز فلسفة القانون.
