"قبل أن تستيقظ طنجة" قصائد تؤشر على طبيعة الإدراك الجمالي لدى نسيمة الراوي التي تعيد نسج علاقة الذات بالزمان والمكان وتتخذ من الشعر وسيلة لفهم العالم ومعاناة الإنسان وتضميد جراحاته. فالشاعرة في هذا الديوان تقدم رؤىً تتحاور فيها الثقافات، وتفتح نوافذ متعددة للتخييل الشعري ولطرائق فاتنة في الكتابة الشعرية تزاوج بين امتدادات الذات الإنسانية في بعدها الكوني، وبين تمثل الذات تخييلياً في نصوص شعرية يطبعها التفكير العميق في الحياة بوصفها رحلة في التاريخ الإنساني؛ وهذا ما بدا في النصوص متطابقاً مع الذكرى أو بوح الروح... تقول الشاعرة ".. أهدهد اوجاهي على سرير الروح/ بالحلم، لا بالنسيان؛/ طنجة لا تنسى وضع ذاكرتي في سلتها،/ كلما نزلت إلى البحر..."
قسمت الشاعرة الديوان إلى مجموعتين: الأولى تحمل عنوان: قبل أن تستيقظ طنجة ويتألف من القصائد: يحاصرني البحر من الجهات كلها،Atlontica، Rio de Joneiro، Tangerima،Assiloh.
أما الثانية فتحمل عنوان: البحر اسطورة زرقاء وتتالف من القصائد: لوركا 1، لوركاح، عجرية، شتاء، المدينة، نكاية بالمدينة.
