يقدم الكتاب الذي بين أيدينا، قراءة إسرائيلية تفصيلية لأحداث تتوزع على قارات العالم، والموقف الإسرائيلي منها، كما يعرض لآثارها السلبية والإيجابية على تل أبيب.
ويوضح هذا الكتاب بأن "إسرائيل" لا ترى نفسها دولة منعزلة عن مختلف التطورات الإقليمية والدولية، بل ترى أنها معنية بكل تطور هنا، وتغيير هناك. والأكثر من ذلك، تعتقد الدولة العبرية أنها ربما يكون لها إسهامات في حدوث بعض هذه التطورات، بصورة مباشرة أو غير مباشرة، حفاظاً على أن تكون حاضرة ومتأهبة لأي تغير دراماتيكي في الخريطة الإقليمية أو الدولية.
