تعالج الأدعية-كما هو معلوم-واقعاً نفسياً ينعكس في تصرفات الإنسان الفردية والاجتماعية، وبتعبير آخر يمكن أن يقال: إن تصرفات الإنسان ليست إلا انعكاساً للواقع الذي يعانيه: هذا من جهة، ومن جهة أخرى نجد أن الرؤية الإسلامية لهذا الواقع رؤية كلية، تربط الموجودات الظاهرية بالغيبيات الباطنية، والحقائق المجردة بالحقائق المركبة، وأن الرابطة في هذه الرواية بين ما هو شاهد ظاهر ملموس وما هو الغيب رابطة وثيقة، تشكل الأدعية آصرة من أوثق الأواصر التي تربط بين الحقائق المجردة والحقائق المركبة، وهذا ما يتضح من خلال ممارسات الإنسان المسلم، وربما يلحظ ذلك أيضاً في ثنايا أسطر هذا الكتاب، حين يقرن المصنف تحقق المطالب والأغراض الإنسانية بالإشادة الربانية في الغالب من أعماله، وربما في جميعها دون استثناء، وذلك تقرير منه بأن معرفة الغيب والغيبيات وما كان وما سيكون منحصرة بيد علام الغيوب، وليس للمخلوق يد فيها، وإن تأقلم أو تلبس بحالات من العزلة والانقطاع إلى الحرب تبارك وتعالى، والقناعة باليسير في المأكل والمشرب وبحالات من الزهد والتعفف التي تضفي عليه أحياناً صفة من صفات التصوف وحالة من حالات الدروشة وهو ما يتضح لكل متتبع لفقرات هذا الكتاب حين يتحسس الشرائط والطقوس والأجواء التي أحاط المصنف نفسه خلال تجاربه الشخصية الخاصة. أو ما تعرض لذكره من تجارب أساتذته، من ضرورة التجنب عن الآثام والمعاصي والالتزام بالنزاهة والعفاف. الذين يبحثون عن سبل الخير وطرق ترسيخ العقيدة لدى الإنسان بتزكية النفوس وتطهيرها، سيجدون ضالتهم في طيات هذا الكتاب الموسوم بـ"كنز الحسين" لما فيه من التزام المؤلف في أعماله وتجاربه بالتوسل بأسماء الله الحسنى والآيات القرآنية الكريمة.
