"هكذا تكلم باب فاطمة" كتابٌ أثار من خلاله الكاتب العراقي "وجيه عباس" مسائل حثيثية في الفكر الإسلامي في عصر صدر الإسلام، لفرض الوصول إلى نقطة إلتقاء تعرفنا على الحقيقة في قضايا خلافية شتى بين المذاهب الإسلامية.
عن هذا الكتاب يقول وجيه عباس في مقدمته: "كتابتي، أسئلتي الكبرى التي أعلن فيها بحثي من جديد عن محمَد الغريب (صلى الله عليه وسلم)، النبي الأمي الذي ثكلنا يفقده، وأثكلناه بوجودنا، التاريخ بحاجة إلى إعادة قراءة، والقراءة بحاجة إلى إعادة تفسير، نحن قوم إذا قرأنا لم نفهم، وإذا فهمنا لم نحس التعبير، وأن أحسنَا فتلك لعمري بداية جديرة بالبحث عن الحقيقة".
يضم الكتاب تسعة فصول يستعرض فيها المؤلف مواقف من التاريخ الإسلامي بأسلوب معاصر شيَق وسافر لا يخلو من المعلومة التاريخية والأحاديث التي زخرت بها بطون الكتب والمسانيد وقد ركَز في موضوعاته على ما أساء للفهم العام للإسلام معتمداً على نصوص مدعمة بتحركات تأريخية ومواقف معينة ومنها ما يصب في قضية الخلافة وإدارة الدولة الإسلامية ونهج الصحابة والأمراء رابطاً بين الأمس واليوم مستعرضاً مظلومية الزهراء عليها السلام وآل البيت بشكل موضوعي وعميق.
