يأتي زمن الدفع بهذه الطبعة من الكتاب إلى المطبعة بعد سنوات من نفاد الطبعة الأولى منذ الشهور الأولى لإصدارها، عبر وزارة التربية والتعليم في المملكة العربية السعودية، كما بلغني حينذاك، لكن أسباب ذلك تبدو غير مفهومة تماماً من وجهة نظري بوصفي مؤلف الكتاب، خاصة بعد أن علمت أن آلافاً مهولة من النسخ تمت طباعتها دفعة واحدة! على أية حال تأتي الطبعة الثانية مزيدة منقحة بدءاً من فكرة تقديم الكتاب من قبل ثلة من خبراء التربية والمفكرين العرب، كما لم يغب رأي أحد أبرز علماء الشريعة في اليمن، وهو العلامة القاضي محمّد بن إسماعيل العمراني، هذا مع إضافة مزيد من الجوانب التربوية التي تأتي انعكاساً للنصوص القرآنية والنبوية الواردة تجاه الآخر غير المسلم .
