والأمثلة على ذلك أكثر من أن تحصى: "سمر وأدوات التجميل" قصة مشوقة ومثيرة للأطفال، وفيها يروي المؤلف قصة سمر الفتاة الجميلة التي عبثت بحاجات والدتها فتعرضت للعقاب والتأنيب. ليس الهدف من هذه القصة أخلاقي توجيهي فحسب بل لها أيضاً هدف تعليمي أيضاً إذ جاءت عباراتها مشكلة والهدف من ذلك مساعدة الطفل على قراءة الكلمة بصورة سليمة.
