كان الفتى الشجاع الطيب القلب سام يعيش مع أمه وأبيه عيشة رخاء وهناءة. لكن في أحد الأيام هاجم لص عملاق منزل الأسرة وسرق أموالها وكل ما عند الأب من كنوز نادرة. هل يستطيع سام أن يستعيد كنوز أبيه؟ ما سرّ حبات الفاصولية التي يأخذها سام ثمناً لبقرته؟ لِمَ خبأت زوجة العملاق الفتى سام وأين خبأته، ولِمَ غضبت بعد ذلك عليه؟ كيف انفضح أمر سام في المغامرة الثالثة التي قام بها في قلعة العملاق؟ قصة مشوقة تناقلتها الأجيال وأحبها الصغار والكبار.
