بعيداً عن التسمية وإشكالياتها، فإن المسمّى عبارة عن "رسائل مع عدم الردّ" ما يجمع بينها هو الأنوثة وممارسة فعل الكتابة للمبدعة "فتون عبد العزيز" وما كان السرد ليمثل سبيلاً إلى البوح، لولا صدوره عن "وعي أنثوي" ، لذات تسعى إلى كشف ما اعتمل في فكرها ووجدانها ومشاعرها عن "الآخر" وتحويل غيابه إلى فرصة لتوليد الدلالات وتأويل الصور، وإنشاء الخطاب، وبالطبع سيجلب هذا الأسلوب المرسل إليه ربما إلى "عدم الردّ" ولتتساءل كاتبة السطور: أكانت الرسائل بدون ساعٍ ... أم ضلّت الطريق!.
تحت عنوان "إليك" تكتب فتون عبد العزيز:
"إلى حبيبي الذي كان مصدر إلهامي، إلى مَن سرق قلبي ويريد الرحيل عني، إلى مَن ملك قلبي ولم يرأفُ به، إلى مَن سيقرأ كتابي هذا بملل، نعم إليك يا حبيبي وقبل أن تبدأ - فقط - أريد منك طلباً أخيراً: حين تملّ من هذا الكتاب لا تتركه مثلما تركتني، وإلى كلّ من سيقرأ هذا الكتاب: حبيبي ليس سيِّئاً؛ حبيبي ألطف وأحسن شخص على وجه الأرض لكن مع كل الأخريات وليس معي".
