يجيء العنوان في المجموعة الشعرية "شيءٌ من هذا الوجع" للشاعرة اللبنانية نورا مرعي من قبيل الصورة الرمزية الغنية بالإيحاءات المعبرة، والأبعاد النفسية المستترة والتي لا تقوى على أدائها اللغة في دلالاتها الوضعية، حيث تتوجه المجموعة نحو قيمة الخسران؛ قد شعرنا الشاعرة خسارتها، بروح شفافة، متنقلة من تجربتها الذاتية إلى تجربة جماعية ذات أبعاد إنسانية عميقة، وقد صاغتها بتعبيرية رمزية، ولغة موحية تجيد بها العزف على أوتار الوجع.
في القصيدة المعنونة "يا وجعي" نقرأ: "يا وجعي... كيف أكتبك وقد ذيَلتْ حروفي؟... كنتَ إستثناءً في حياتي... وكنتُ جملةً إعتراضية حذفْتَني... في لحظة جنونٍ... كيف يجفُ جرحي؟... وأنا المطعونة بطيفك... والمدفونة في قلبك... لا أحلم بعدك بغير الضياع... وبحياةٍ وهميةٍ... وبحلمٍ هاربٍ هادئٍ ساخر... يحاولُ نسياني... كيف تشردتْ لغتي؟... وصرْتَ كإستحضارِ الأرواحِ أمراً بعيد المنال".
تقول الشاعرة نورا مرعي منَ عملها هذا: "ديوان "شيءٌ من هذا الوجع" علامتي الفارقة في الحياة، وحتى لا أموت وجعاً، ولا تفتك بي كلماته، احتضنت كلّ حرفٍ منه، ورميتُ على كلماته ملح الدّموع، وأشعلتُ ناري، لأتركهُ بين أياديكم علّه يذهب ولا يعود إلا رسماً وحبّاً وروعة ودمعة مهداة منّي إليكم".
احتوى الكتاب على جزئين: الجزء الأول: القصائد النثري ويضم (37) قصيدة، والجزء الثاني: القصائد العمودية ويضم (24) قصيدة في الشعر العربي الموزون والمقفى.
